Over the next two weeks, Mike will be interviewing Envision Berlin Intern Rachel Norton. Rachel is the very first Envision Berlin intern and faced some significant challenges - especially in the launching aspect of her internship due to COVID, lockdowns, and changing ministry expectations.
In today’s episode, we take a trip down memory lane and remember some of the aspects involved in coming to Berlin. The goal is not to complain - but to explore what was happening on a spiritual level through the whole process. How was God at work below the surface?
Another important theme touches on something important for all of us involved in some level of ministry - How do we measure our success and live up to other’s (and our own) standards of performance when we are unable to do things? What impact does that have on our spiritual life? How do we discover what is constant in life?
