After a long pause Unterwegs is back this week with a special episode - the first time the entire Envision Berlin staff has appeared on an episode together.
This episode was recorded on March 21, day 25 of the war on Ukraine. Berlin is, under normal traffic conditions, 10 hours from the Ukraine border. Kyiv is 900 miles away, the distance from Minneapolis, MN to Dallas, TX. The nearness of this war, combined with relationships we have with people in Ukraine, has had an impact on us as a team.
We talk about that impact as well as talking about the arrival of refugees in the city of Berlin - an average of 10,000 refugees per day - almost exclusively women and children. The enormity of the need is also something that is impacting us.
