This week Mike returns to his running 5-Questions series with Shaw Coleman, the director of The Limelight Collective.
Shaw Coleman completed his dance training at Australian National Theatre Ballet School in 2006. From 2006 - 2016 Shaw worked as a professional dancer in Europe and Asia. In 2016 he and his wife founded The Limelight Collective - an outreach project of the Salvation Army in one of the central creative communities in Berlin.
Activities at The Limelight Collective consist of dance, theatre, film, live music, installations, and many other forms of art - and Envision Berlin is excited about our partnership with The Limelight Collective and the opportunities this gives to performance artists to serve in Berlin.
The 5 questions have been broken into two sessions, with Mike and Shaw discussing questions one and two this week.
What is a significant transition you have experienced?
What’s one of the most important risks you have taken and why?
What is one decision you wish you didn’t make?
What role does faith play in your life? (Or Who do you look up to for inspiration or mentorship)
What are your current projects or what are you working on next?
In addition, they discuss what it means to be an artist, how God moves people on to next steps in life, and the reassurance of knowing God is with us.

The Retrospective Prime Directive, referred to in the episode, is written by Norm Kerth in his , Project Retrospectives: A Handbook for Team Review, and reads - "Regardless of what we discover, we understand and truly believe that everyone did the best job they could, given what they knew at the time, their skills and abilities, the resources available, and the situation at hand."
